Delete your app account
Open Yapper → Profile → Settings → Delete account. You may need to sign in again to confirm it is your account. Review the confirmation: this is account deletion, not temporary deactivation. If you cannot sign in, use email below.
Other requests or an inaccessible account
Prepare a data request to dev@yapper.world. Send from the account or beta application’s email if possible, and say whether you want access, correction, account deletion, beta-request removal, or another action. The link opens your email app; review and send the message there. Clicking alone does not submit it.
We may need proportionate verification before disclosing or deleting information. Do not send passwords, recovery codes, payment-card details, or identity documents in the initial email. We will explain any limitation or additional information needed.
What account deletion covers
The workflow removes account-owned records and uploaded files, redacts authored discussion content, and clears local session and account data covered by the app’s cleanup. Blank discussion entries can remain to preserve others’ replies.
Moderation evidence, security/audit records, backups, provider logs, support email, and other people’s copies may remain separately. Account deletion does not automatically remove historical Google telemetry, email-delivery records, or a separate website beta application. Identify those in your request if you want them reviewed too. See current retention limits in the Privacy Policy.
Stop optional collection or beta email
Turn off app analytics and diagnostics in Settings. Use website Cookie settings to reject website analytics. To stop beta-related email, reply to the message or email an unsubscribe request. These choices do not require deleting your account. Necessary security messages are separate from optional updates.
Information from someone below the permitted age
If someone under 13, or below the applicable local minimum, has submitted information, contact us about a child privacy concern. Include only what is needed to identify the account or submission so we can investigate.
